FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.  How many dishes can I enter into the challenge?

 

A.   We encourage one entry per person into the competition.

 

Q.  How old do I need to be to enter?

 

A.   There are no age restrictions for the challenge. We have different prize categories for children, young adults and adults.

 

Q.  Do I have to prepare my entire dish at the event?

 

A.   Of course not. You are encouraged to prepare or complete your dish at home and then bring it along to be judged. There is however, some equipment at the event if you wish to serve your dish hot.

 

Q.  What equipment is available at the contestant stations on the day?

 

A.   There are four contestant stations at the event where you can complete your dish for judging with limited cooking facilities and utensils.

  • BBQs

  • Gas burners

  • Chopping boards

  • Knives

  • Bowls

  • Spoons

  • Stainless steel benches

 

You will need to bring your own serving dishes and cups/ bowls to serve your entry to the judges.
